BHANTE-The Corgi of O’side has been released!

Award-winning Author and retired middle school teacher, Deborah Burggraaf, has announced the release of her sixteenth book, BHANTE, The Corgi of O’side!

BHANTE-The Corgi of O’side follows Ms. Burggraaf’s FAPA triple silver medal award-winning book, MISS DEACON and The Tale of William.

MISS DEACON and the Tale of William received three, silver medals from the Florida Authors and Publishers President’s Book Awards on August 1, 2020 in the categories: Memoir, Self-Help and Inspirational.

Ms. Burggraafhas once again teamed up with Publisher, Steve White, Protective Hands Communications, Riviera Beach, Florida to produce her first, photo picture book for children, as well as adults to enjoy. Set on the west, coastal town of Oceanside, California, BHANTE takes us on his daily stroll admiring the highlights along Coast Highway, while he pauses to welcome locals and tourists with his loving kindness.

Loxahatchee, FL -September 3-2020: Deborah Burggraaf, a South Florida retired middle school teacher and the recipient of ten, FAPA (Florida Authors and Publishers Book Awards) and one IBA Finalist (International Book Award), has established herself as a prolific writer of children’s books, now introduces her sixteenth book, BHANTE-The Corgi of O’side.

The central character in the story is Bhante, a Pembroke Welsch Corgi, who captures the hearts of all he meets. Bhante is a trained Service Dog, enabling him to enter many community venues. “It’s a Corgi! It’s a Corgi! They excited call. Bhante struts, turns his head, and stands so proud and so tall.”  Bhante, along with his mother and father, walk out on the Oceanside Pier, as joggers run and fisherman hope to make a catch. They saunter over to the Oceanside Harbor, shop at the local, street market, and savor a spicy, Mexican lunch plate of tacos.
